American Block was founded in 1979 in the heart of the oil patch – Houston, TX by an entrepreneurial mechanical engineer, Mr. Rajani Shah . Originally set up to be a general machine shop serving the local oilfield community,, the business has now expanded into an internationally recognized UEM manufacturing company providing a wide array of oilfield drilling and marine products. Over the years, and since our inception, the company has used its engineering skills and world class manufacturing techniques to improve on focused drilling products like Sheaves, Traveling Equipment, Triplex Mud Pumps and Drawworks. 

 In addition to these legacy products the company has also developed, and now distribute, a line of Flow Iron and Hammer Union products. New to our product line this year is well service pumping solutions in the form of 600 Triplex and 1000 and 2500HP quintuplex pumps. Today, we stand alert and ready to tackle any challenge our clients’ face with the most experienced and knowledgeable team in the industry. With our hands-on management team, expert engineers, and highly-skilled machinists, welders, and service men and women, we are equipped to handle any project large, small, or unique on a global scale.
